Being sanctioned means you're formerly authorised as the Official of COA's activities. Sanctioned as an approved Official by COA means a person that is a current financial member of COA and has been formally authorised, designated, or accredited to host, organise and or lead activities that insured by COA.
The COA Sanction options include:
- Camp Host;
- Home Host;
- Sport Controller;
- Trip Leader;
- Auto Business; and
- Auto Club
Camp Host is a property owner that has official permission or approval by COA to receive or entertain COA Campers on their property, and or is a venue providing facilities for COA camping and related activities. Read more about COA Camp Hosts >>
Home Host is a home owner, whether located in the suburbs or the bush,that has a space such as driveway, front yard, side strip or back yard where fellow COA Home Hospes Members can park for FREE, but ONLY with their self-contained RV and just for a night or two. Read more about COA Home Hosts >>
Sport Controller organises motorcycle sport events which are described as either competitive/ timed racing events or noncompetitive/ untimed testing events. The Sport Controller holds the ultimate responsibility for the safety of the participants and the protection of the environment. Read more about COA Sport Controllers >>
Trip Leader is a skilled, responsible COA Member who plans, manages, and leads a group of registered vehicles, which are driven and include recreational vehicles and motor vehicles on a journey, ensuring safety, compliance with local rules, and proper communication. They manage the convoy, navigate, and guide the group through difficult obstacles, and lead vehicle recovery efforts. Read more about COA Trip Leaders >>
Auto Businesses are recreational vehicle and motor vehicle businesses that nominate a representative from within the business as Trip Leader to organise activities for their customers. Read more about COA Auto Businesses >>
