Any form of accommodation rental whether apartment, farm, house, villa, etc. can apply for the COA Accommodation Rental Public Liability Insurance Program. COA acts as a qualifying gatekeeper. Once you affiliate your accommodation rental, it is then eligible to buy its own individual, full-spectrum insurance policy from the COA partner broker. The accommodation rental fills out its own proposal form, detailing its specific assets (building, equipment, contents, etc).

The policy is issued in the accommodation rental's own name, allowing it to operate as an independent legal entity. The resulting policy is a full insurance contract between the accommodation rental and the insurer. The accommodation rental operates independently, but it "unlocks" the specialised, low-cost rate by being a COA affiliate.

The COA Accommodation Rental Membership process is as follows:

1. Apply and pay for COA Shareholder Membership;

2. Once membership is approved we'll send you a link to the COA Accommodation Rental Insurance Proposal Form to complete and submit;

3. Our insurer will get back to you usually within a week or so with an affordable quote.
